Charting the Course for Supporting
Sustainable Business in North Carolina
A FutureWave PossibilityNOW Collaboratory
As the interest in creating a “green economy” has exploded, so have the number of programs promoting sustainable business...and confusion about what’s available and how to access them.
In response, the Sustainable NC Business Council has partnered with FutureWave Consulting to host a unique and engaging “collaboratory” to take collaboration to a whole new level. On May 21, 2009, we brought together people from all sectors - nonprofits, foundations, universities, government agencies, associations and businesses – to work toward developing a comprehensive, accessible network of support for creating, growing and attracting sustainable companies in our state.

Mr. McKoy Goes to Washington
 Sustainable NC Business Council member Henry McKoy was recently invited to the White House to join a select group of business leaders for a briefing with President Obama on building a green economy. Henry shares his experience and excitement about the potential for North Carolina lead in "showing the rest of the world how Green Jobs and Green Investing are done right!"
